Administration

Principal's Welcome

Greetings wonderful Lamping Elementary Students and Families,

I wanted to take a few moments to formally introduce myself. My name is Jonathan Yutuc, your new principal at Frank Lamping Elementary. To give you a little bit of information about myself, I am originally from the Bay Area in Northern California, so I am a fan of all the sports teams from that area. The Warriors, Giants, 49ers, and yes, that includes the San Jose Sharks, so I know that I am already going to be unpopular with all you Golden Knights fans. I have a lovely wife, Megan, who is also an educator, a handsome 3 year old Elijah, and a little girl joining us in November. I have been able to serve as an educational administrator and leader for over a decade now, so I take pride in helping provide the highest level of education and care to the students that we serve.

We are off to an amazing school year, and we are so excited to serve our new and returning students and families. I know that there is always the stress of new or different things each and every year. However, what our school does best is support and uplift each other. Simply put, our community really lifts each school member up to be successful. Yes, academics and rigor are important, but that cannot be done without the physical and emotional connection that our teachers and staff thrive on most when our students come through our doors each day. This connection starts at home and continues at school with each and every relationship that is established between teachers, staff, and students.

To all of our students, parents, families, teachers, and staff,

Let’s do our best to support each other, practice patience, show grace, and remain positive so we can serve our students as best as we can. Let’s remember to be the amazing Lightning Bolt community that we are.
Let’s all have an amazing year.

GO LIGHTNING BOLTS!!

Your friendly neighborhood principal,

Mr. Yutuc

Assistant Principal's Welcome

I am so excited to be a part of the Lamping community as the newly appointed assistant principal! I am eager to work alongside the staff, students, and families to ensure that each child receives the best educational experiences possible. As we begin working together, I look forward to getting to know the families that make up this community and determining ways I can best serve you. I believe that schools and families must work together as a team, and I will do all I can to assist in that process.

My name is Angie Niemann, and I come to you with over 18 years of teaching experience. I have taught 3rd, 5th, and 2nd grades and kindergarten through 5th grades as a PE teacher. I have a master’s degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in Educational Policy and Leadership along with a master’s degree from Lesley University in Technology in Education.

On a personal level, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband is an x-ray technologist, and we have been married for 13 years.  Our daughter, Quinn, is six years old and will also be joining the Lamping community as a 1st grader. We love to travel, hike, and take our boat out on Lake Mead.

I cannot express how excited and honored I am to join this amazing community and ensure our students grow and achieve. I look forward to meeting and working with all of you. Let’s have a great year!

Assistant Principal's Welcome

I am honored to continue to serve the Lamping Community as a newly appointed assistant principal! I am thrilled to be working with the staff, students, and families to ensure student success. I understand how important it is for families and staff to work together to provide positive outcomes for students!

My name is Corianne Guerin, and I have been teaching for 13 years!  I have taught second and third grade, as well as served as an Instructional Coach. I have spent the last six years teaching third grade here at Lamping!  I have a master’s degree from Southern Utah University in education along with a master’s degree from Western Governors University in educational leadership.

I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children.  My husband is my high school sweetheart and is also an assistant principal in the Clark County School District.  My son, Everett, is a sophomore at Las Vegas Academy. My daughter, Sadie, is a sixth grader at Thurman White Academy.  We love to travel and are forever planning our next adventure!

I love the Lamping community and am thrilled to be working in this new capacity as the assistant principal.  I will work tirelessly to ensure our students grow and achieve. I look forward to working with all of you. Go BOLTS!
