Welcome to your Lamping Library

Our school is fortunate to contain so many fabulous books and resources for our students and teachers. We encourage the love of reading which is necessary for lifelong learning. Students have access to our online library catalog either at school or at home through Destiny Discover. Our library catalog also has a variety of credible online resources for research and eBooks to access on any device.

  • Students in kindergarten through fifth grade visit the library once every seven days.
  • Books are due during their next scheduled library day.
  • Students need to return their books each week in order to be eligible to check out new books.
  • If books are lost or damaged, the student will pay for a new copy before another can be checked out.
  • Kindergarten and first grade students will check out one book each week and books are kept in their classroom.
  • Second grade will check out one book each week before and up to winter break.
  • Third, fourth and fifth grade students will check out two books each week.
