Welcome to Frank Lamping Elementary School, a Nevada Governor Designated STEAM School, and home of the Lamping Lightning Bolts. In the front lobby you will see a portrait of our namesake Mr. Frank Lamping along with the many awards and recognitions for excellence in academics.
Our front office is where you will find our amazing and friendly office staff. In an open and cheery office environment, our parents and students will always feel right at home. If you ever need any help, feel free to contact our office staff.
Each Greatroom is equipped with computers and work stations for students to use, and an uplifting affirmation mural on the wall for students. With a positive learning environment, our Lightning Bolts can excel at anything they do.
Be Like a Tree, Stand Tall and Proud and Remember Your Roots.
Students enter for classes into a welcoming and positive working environment.
The Seeds of Today are the Flowers of Tomorrow.
The 40s Greatroom presents a confident atmosphere for students working on class projects.
Every Mountain Top is Within Reach if You Just Keep Climbing!
With a hopeful message, students feel motivated when they work in the 50s Greatroom.
Be Kind, Stick Together.
Hard work is made easy when kindness is in abundance. Remember, kindness is striking!
Our main building’s computer lab is set up for multiple uses. Students can take tests while there, work on class projects, and even play educational games! Each class has one hour a week of assigned computer time outside of the extra time any student may need. We believe our students can achieve anything they set their minds to!
Our multi-purpose room is equipped with a stage for plays and musicals, room for tables during lunch, and a kitchen where our wonderful cafeteria staff prepares the meals for students. In addition to the school kitchen, there is also a PTA Kitchen where our fabulous PTA prepares the many fun events for our Lamping families. When you see a special day like Muffins With Mom or Bring Someone Special to Lunch on our calendar, just know that our PTA has set all of that up!
Our Courtyard houses our school tortoise Franklin. His burrow is fenced in, but students are encouraged to peek in on him any time he is out and about. The Courtyard has a serene and peaceful environment with several beautiful rose bushes, some fruit trees, wind chimes and a bench in honor of the Columbia crew. Next time the school has a Courtyard Coffee Chat, come by, take a break, and stop and smell the roses.
